To Register In Person
To Register in person for any of our locations go to Martin Luther King Academy 135 Locust Hill Ave. (on any full day of school) between the hours of 4 and 6 pm ask for Mrs. Cloud or any K.A.P. staff.
TRANSPORTATION
If you need transportation to our program, the procedure has changed. Click on the link at the end of this paragraph (Yonkers Public Schools) and click on (LET'S tALK) which is at the top of the page then click on TRANSPORTATION and then scroll down to TRANSPORTATION FORMS AND APPLICATION Click on the link "ALTERNATE SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION REQUEST"
then go to "LOCATION OF PICK UP/DROP OFF" select NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS (KAP) AND select one of our 3 locations. Transportation to our program will be approved but follow up with the transpotation department at

If your child attends The Charter School of Excellence or any other (Non Yonkers Public School) you will need to fill out a "Request for Non Public Transportation form" using the same link or call the transportation department for more assistance 914-376-8015
Use These Forms Only If Neccessary
● This form may be used to meet the consent requirements for the administration of the following: prescription medications, oral over-the-counter medications, medicated patches, and eye, ear, or nasal drops or sprays. ● Only those staff certified to administer medications to day care children are permitted to do so. ● One form must be completed for each medication. Multiple medications cannot be listed on one form. ● Consent forms must be reauthorized at least once every six months for children under 5 years of age and at least once every 12 months for children 5 years of age and older.

How to Register:
To register On-Line, you can download all enrollment forms on this website, just go into "REGISTRATION FORMS" on the top of the page and download the enrollment application and emergency card. Please email the forms to kapis4kids@gmail.com to pay your $35.00 registration fee please zelle mrs.rcloud@yahoo.com and put your chids name in the notes. Please text Mr. Cloud 914-562-3632 once you have completed the registration so he can verify.
COVID-19
Now more than ever, kids need summer camp. According to health officials, the risk of transmitting COVID-19 in an outdoor enviroment like camp is low, but the benefits of socialization, exercise, and learning would be tremendous.
The KAP team is taking steps to keep campers and staff safe by implementing guidelines from CDC and New York State Department of Health. KAP's team priority is to provide a safe and fun enviroment while adhering to the CDC and Department of Health guidelies and are committed to sharing timely communications with our families. We've designed our COVID-19 safety plan to be flexible, so we can adapt and refine our responses.
KAP summer program safety protocols include the following:
*Monitoring health of campers throughout the day.
*Cleaning and disinfecting all activity areas, equipment, and supplies
*Mandatory handwashing between activities
*Providing EPA approved soap and hand sanitizer at activity and food locations
*Reducing groups limited to no more than 10 campers with 2 staff
*Maintaining the same group of 10 campers and dedicated staff the enitre 6 weeks of camp
*Maintaining safe social distancing between groups
*Having trained medical staff on-site
